DESCRIPTION:The 1199SEIU Homecare Training Benefit invites you to a focus group for PCA (Personal Care Attendant) consumers/employers. The topic will be a new training program we are developing for PCAs for disability awareness. The curriculum will be used as part of the Homecare Training Benefit to educate PCAs. Your input is vital to making sure PCAs get the most useful training possible! (These are optional trainings\, separate from the new orientation for all new PCAs.) \nThe focus group will be on Tuesday\, March 15\, 2016. 11:00 – 12:00\, at BCIL (60 Temple Place\, 5th floor\, Boston\, MA 02111). A pizza lunch will be provided\, and each participant will receive a $25 Stop and Shop gift card. All PCA consumers are eligible. RSVPs are required. \nPlease RSVP as soon as possible.
