Rev Up! Forum
April 27, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm
As you know, 2016 is a national election year. BCIL, the Disability Law Center, and many other disability organizations statewide and across the country are working together to get more people with disabilities registered to vote, educated on the candidates and issues, and to the polls on Election Day, November 8, 2016. Voting is crucial for increasing our political power in 2016 and the years to come.
Please join us on April 27 for an Election Assistance Commission Public Meeting followed by lunch and a REV UP Strategy Meeting. The Election Assistance Commission will listen to testimony about barriers that people with disabilities and others have faced in voting. The goal of the strategy meeting is to develop our plans to register more people with disabilities to vote.
