Living Marie Feltin’s Legacy During COVID-19

October 1, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Because of COVID-19, we have twice postponed the award ceremony, in March and then its rescheduled date in June. We have now booked the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel with the hope of resuming the in-person event on Friday, March 19, 2021. In the interim, we will be hosting a one-hour Zoom gathering for our supporters on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 7:00 pm that will include acknowledgement of our award winners and a lively discussion on disability rights featuring national activist Bob Kafka. We would expect to more formally honor award winners Zary Amirhosseini, Mala Rafik, Shirley Simmons, and Darryl K. Williams (posthumous) during the 2021 ceremony.

We hope you will join us on October 1. You do need to register on Zoom, which you can do on our website (www.bostoncil.org) and or by typing in this site: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_nTk8xjOqRmC5MvMYjP6DiA
