Living Well in the Community Workshop

The Boston Center for Independent Living is excited to announce our upcoming Living Well in The Community Workshop!

LWIC will be conducted in a hybrid model (In person and over zoom)  every Tuesday starting May 14 through July 2nd

Each session incorporates facilitated discussions, fun activities, access to informative videos and resources, and the opportunity to meet others with similar experiences!

This 8-week workshop is an initiative led by the Department of Public Health (DPH) and the Community Living Advocacy Program (CLA), aimed at supporting the health and wellness of individuals living with disabilities.

Participants interested in attending must be ages 18 and older, identify as living with a disability and be a member of BCIL

LWIC is a Free, 10-session workshop aimed at empowering the health and wellness of people living with disabilities.

Topics include:

  • Goal setting
  • Eating well
  • Advocacy
  • Healthy communication
  • Building support

Why should you enroll?

  • Learn and practice skills that support a healthy and independent lifestyle
  • Meet others with similar experiences
  • Up to $100 in gift cards!
