DAAHR Healthcare Access Forum

Disability Advocates Advancing our Healthcare Rights (DAAHR) is holding a virtual forum to hear your concerns about access to health care. We want to hear from you if you are in a MassHealth Accountable Care Organization (ACO), One Care, or a fee-for-service plan.  Key topics will include:

1. Supply chain issues and shortage of Durable Medical Equipment (DME). Relevant DME can include (but is not limited to):

  • Trach tubes
  • Oxygen
  • Syringes and needles
  • Enfit connectors
  • Formula
  • Incontinence supplies

2. Problems with PT-1 services (non-emergency MassHealth transportation)

3. PCA shortages

4. Barriers to mental health services

5. Physical barriers to health care services (exam tables, x-rays, dental chairs, other)
